Quilting / Needlework Thursdays at 7.30pm in Heiton Hall At the recent introductory meeting it was agreed to start a quilting/needlework group in the village. His Grace The Duke of Roxburghe performed the opening ceremony for the refurbished Heiton Hall on Saturday 23rd February 2008. Many locals and friends attended the opening, when Cllr Nicol gave a brief history of the Hall, and a celebration followed. Pictures of the event were provided by Bernie Finlay. Hall News Hall Reopening His Grace the Duke of Roxburghe reopened the hall on Saturday 23rd February. Many local residents and other hall users took the chance to inspect the new facilities and all agreed that the work had been well worth the effort.
